I have a primary background in food and beverage purchasing, so facilities and corporate business spending was new to me when I joined my current company. Not having this knowledge presents a challenge when the time comes to present concrete business data, and produce savings off of this data. I was introduced to Bottom Line by our former Chief Financial Officer, and, to be honest, I did not know what to expect from a company that promises savings in categories I was unfamiliar with. What did they do that any other cost consolidator can’t do? My reluctancies and trepidations have been assuaged ten fold – not only does BLC dive deep into our company’s data and cost chain, but they take the time to analyze and interpret this data into a tried and true savings plan for each category. We have only scratched the surface of savings potential with BLC, and I hope to achieve much more, as BLC grows with us at Convene. They also have a true sense of hospitality, and aren’t afraid to teach an old dog new tricks.
